The Sterling Rangers were narrowly nipped for the District 22-5A title Tuesday, but didn’t go down without a fight.

The Rangers (9-8, 6-1) dropped a fierce 10-9 home decision to Friendswood in what was the district title match between the teams that featured plenty of high fives, shouts of excitement and rowdy fans.
