REL junior Jluz Mares and the Ganders began workouts while observing social distancing mandates Monday morning. UIL schools returned to practice after a two-week layoff for precautionary measures due to the COVID-19 surge. 

High school athletic programs jumped back into workouts Monday after a brief layoff with the July sun waiting to greet them.

The Goose Creek CISD programs along with Barbers Hill and Crosby suspended workouts as a precautionary measure to the COVID-19 pandemic as the UIL regrouped and developed new mandates.
