Goose Creek Memorial’s Tyler Tolliver strips away the ball from the Pasadena rusher and tries to take off during the Patriots scrimmage Friday.

Pasadena came to town for a scrimmage at GCM and the host Patriots dominated most of the controlled aspects of the evening and won a 21-0 half of play to end the night.

“I thought the kids played hard, intense and inspired for having not played a game since November,” GCM head coach Shannon Carter said. “There are things that a lot of coaches will say the same thing: We have a lot of the same things to clean up: From communication to alignment to tempo to transitioning. We just have to get back to being a team. It’s nothing I didn’t expect.”
