“Nobody beats the Rays 10-0 and gets away with it!”

Dennis Araujo’s Little League battle cry, which he likened endearingly to the Texas Revolution’s “Remember the Alamo,” was one he said he emphasized to his team in order to push them toward greatness. Araujo, who turns 68 next month, managed and coached his grandson’s Little League team, the Rays, this past year from a 10-0 loss to the Cubs — the very game that inspired his words of encouragement — to a championship victory against the same team.
