Looking into ways to recycle plastic waste for better uses was the main topic for Chevron Phillips Cedar Bayou Plant Manager Gary Piana when he paid the Rotary Club of Baytown a virtual visit. Many Rotarians tuned in to Wednesday’s meeting through Zoom due to the pandemic.

Discussing circular polymers, Piana described them as an advanced form of recycling that converts plastic waste into valuable liquids and turns it into new petrochemicals.
