After the groundbreaking for the Hyatt Regency hotel and convention center on Bayland Island, city officials DPR Construction will soon be bringing in trucks with dirt to convert the project from dream to reality.  Turning dirt for the long-awaited Hyatt Regency hotel and convention center on Bayland Island was a dream come true for the city. Now, construction is set to begin, and city officials are ready to see the project turn into an actual structure.

DPR Construction will spend the next 18 months building the hotel and convention center.
