The Mont Belvieu City Council passed several adjustments to personnel policies, mainly minor changes or clarifications to the handling of time off, in a brief regular meeting Monday.

Most of the policy changes made it clear that in most cases employees cannot use time off – vacation or sick leave – to get paid for more than 40 hours in one week, nor does paid time off count toward determining overtime.
