 The City of Baytown made a historic announcement with the purchase and implementation of the Biodefense Indoor Air Protection System, designed by Integrated Viral Protection. Mayor Brandon Capetillo speaks during a press conference Monday afternoon. 

City Manager Rick Davis described Monday as a historic day for Baytown, for Texas and the world when it was announced the city will utilize the Biodefense Indoor Air Protection System, designed by Integrated Viral Protection, in city facilities. 

“This represents, better than anything I’ve seen in my career, the absolute fulfillment of the purpose of a municipality’s charter, and that is to enrich people’s lives and to build a community,” Davis said.
