Harris County Flood Control will hold an online community engagement meeting at 6:30 p.m. June 16 as part of its feasibility study for stormwater tunnels to alleviate flooding.

Part of the response to Hurricane Harvey, the proposal under consideration would build 25-foot or 40-foot diameter tunnels under the Houston area to divert water from flood-prone bayous in large storms.
