The Sterling Lady Rangers volleyball team are now in fourth place in District 22-5A as the second half of the district schedule is set to begin after a 3-0 (26-24, 25-14, 25-17) win over Texas City Wednesday night.

Even if they lost, the Sterling Lady Rangers played one of their better matches this season as they scrambled, battled and contested Friendswood every step of the way Tuesday night.

District 12-5A II play begins 7:30 p.m. tonight as the Barbers Hill Eagles (1-2) travel to Turner Stadium in Humble for a date with Kingwood Park (1-2).
