A young cancer patient who lost his hearing has received one of the best Christmas gifts ever — the gift of sound with free hearing aids.

David Crawford, a 25-year-old Liberty resident, was diagnosed with cancer three years ago. After undergoing aggressive chemotherapy and stem cell therapy treatment, he lost his hearing.
