The other day, I was in the Kroger parking lot and I was circling, trying to find the coveted handicapped parking space. It could not be an ordinary handicapped parking space, mind you, this one had to have one special characteristic. It had to be empty. So, suddenly, I saw this car with its brake lights on. I figured, “Aha, he’s about to back out”.

So, I sat there, with my turn signal on, handicapped placard hanging on my mirror, waiting for this car to back out. I had been sitting there for a couple of minutes and I looked up and suddenly a car pulled up, coming from the opposite direction, facing me and he also had his turn signal on, indicating that he also wanted the handicapped parking place that I did. Meanwhile, the car’s backup lights came on, and the car began inching backwards.
