A Houston man was charged with the murder of a Hankamer man in Chambers County Friday night. Larry Dewayne Brinkley, 56, is in the Chambers County Jail with bond set at $750,000, according to jail records. The murdered man was identified as Leslie Evan Larrison, 54, of Hankamer.
