Robert E. Lee Ganders running back Leo Cedeno gets past a few Galveston Ball defenders on the way to a score during an eventual 38-7 victory Friday.

The Ganders, after beating Ross S. Sterling, Sam Rayburn and Spring Woods to start the season 3-0 for the first time since 2001, opened District 24-4A play with a rousing 38-7 victory over hapless Galveston Ball Friday night at Stallworth Stadium.
