Barbers Hill ISD trustees held public hearings Monday as a step in creating two new 313 appraised value limitation deals that are the latest signs of continued growth in the petro-chemical industry here.

The deals involve a natural gas fractionator worth an estimated $246 million to be built within district boundaries by Lone Star NGL and another fractionator, this one to be constructed by Cedar Bayou Fractionators, worth an estimated $300 million.
