Founders Day

Here are some of the organizers of the annual Founders Day Celebration. Patriotism and pride are the order of the day for Old River-Winfree Founders Day, coming Oct. 12 at the community east of Mont Belvieu.

While Founders Day activities get a head start Saturday with a 5K Run/Walk at Barbers Hill High School, the main Founders Day Celebration is a week later in and around the Community Building, 4818 FM 565 North – accessible by heading north on Highway 565 from Interstate 10 or east on Highway 565 from Mont Belvieu.
