The West Chambers County Pilot Club will hold its annual fund-raising gala on Saturday from 6 to 10 p.m. at Barbers Hill High School in Mont Belvieu.

The theme is “Pilots of the Care-of-Being.” Dinner tickets are $10 each. There will be a Kidz Zone with crafts at no charge, but donations will be accepted. The gala will also have entertainment, live and silent auctions and a drawing.  Tickets for the drawing are $5 each or five for $20.

Three items will be on the tickets: a queen quilt donated by Pilot Agnes Hejtmanek, a $500 Visa gift card and a $200 All About You gift card.

Some live auction items include a two-night stay at Coushatta Casino Resort trip, dinner and two rounds of golf, and 100 pounds of crawfish with a chef to cook it.

The funds raised at the gala benefits several Pilot Club community projects, including purchasing a wheelchair-accessible van for Chambers County, supporting the Barbers Hill High School Anchor Club, presenting the “BrainMinders” Buddies program with the Anchor Club to Barbers Hill Kindergarten Center and primary schools and donating school supplies to Barbers Hill ISD.
