up on Lee

That loss, coupled with a win by Port Arthur Memorial, spelled the end of the season for the Lady Ganders, who finished in sixth place in District 21-5A at 2-8, 10-20 overall.

playoff hopes alive
Goose Creek Memorial scored a 44-23 win over Galena Park Tuesday night and, by virtue of C.E. King’s 55-39 loss to Kingwood Park, finished the regular season tied for fourth with C.E. King in District 19-4A.
Both teams were 7-7 in district, splitting their two games, so they will need a play-in game later this week to determine which team gets the district’s final playoff spot.
Courtney Spann scored 12 points to lead GCM and Cookie Jackson added 10 points for the Patriots, now 15-11 on the season.
