Barbara Ruth Aronson

Barbara Ruth Aronson, 62, of Baytown, passed away February 1, 2010, in a local hospital. She was born May 25, 1947, to Michael M. Silvestri and Ruth Buskett Silvestri in Jersey City, New Jersey. A member of Maranatha Church, she was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family. She will be remembered as a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and cousin. Besides her family, she enjoyed reading, cooking and growing beautiful flowers.

Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her husband of forty-one years, Keith Aronson; son, Daniel Aronson and wife, Raegan; brothers, Michael Silvestri and wife, Christine, Ernest Silvestri, Mark Silvestri and wife, Crystal, and Bruce Silvestri and wife, Eve; sisters, Judy Longstreet and husband, Samuel, Vivian Silvestri and Steve Reynolds, Joyce Delahanty and husband, Jeff, Ruth Doremus and husband, Dave, and Janine McHenry and husband, Dave; grandchildren, Alexis, Torie and Brieann; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many other loving friends and family members who will miss her.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2010, in the Chapel of Crespo & Jirrels. For those desiring, memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Aronson’s memory to Maranatha Church Operation B.A.M.
