Stephen L. Allen

Stephen L. Allen was born August 20, 1948 to Clyde L. and Katherine Johnson Allen in Frierson, Louisiana. He grew-up in McNair and attended Harlem Elementary School, George Washington Carver High School and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown, Texas 1967. Thereafter he was drafted to the U. S. Army, where he served two years and was honorably discharged.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a wife, four sisters, and one brother.

He leaves to mourn his death, two sisters, Lucille A. Abney (James H. Jr.) of Houston, Texas; Nellie Allen Byrd of Baltimore, Maryland and two brothers John H. “PT” Allen of Houston, Texas and Joseph Allen of Los Angeles, California. His Children: Toni Nevels Allen, Craig D. Allen (Lisa); Stephanie Allen Gobert (Kevin) of Fresno, Texas; Katherine Allen of Baytown, Texas. Grandchildren: Kevin Allen, Myria Nevels, Joshua Wilson, Isaiah Wilson, Kierra Gobert, JaKobe Gobert, Shanequia Siler (Donivan), Kourtney Robinson, Alexis Allen, Craig J. Allen, Desvon D. Allen, Disha D. Allen, Brooklynn Allen, Dominique Stewart, Bray’Lan Jn’Marie, Jay’lan Jn’Marie.

Great Grandchildren: Daelyn Siler, Nevaeh Robinson and Brielle Allen.

On Saturday, February 6, 2010 visitation will be at 11:00am with the services following at 12:00am at Frazier Funeral Home Chapel, 7623 Harrison Street, Baytown Texas. On Monday, February 8, 2010, interment will be at 1:15pm at Veteran Memorial Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
