Madelyn A. “Doodle” LaBuff Durdin
Madelyn A. “Doodle” LaBuff Durdin, 74, of Dayton, was received into heaven peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Sunday, November 15, 2009.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 19, 2009, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Magnolia Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, at the funeral home.

Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Madelyn was born November 5, 1935 in Simmons Bottom, to parents; Frank S. and Lena May Dunn LaBuff, and has resided in the Dayton area throughout her life. She was a homemaker, member of the Trinity Baptist Church and Grief Relief of Liberty County, and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, and church activities.

Mrs. Durdin was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Delmon Maurice Durdin, son: Delmon Lynn Durdin, and 13 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children: Edward Durdin and wife Robbie of Conroe, Dennis Durdin and wife Glinda of Center, Maureen Tucker and husband Jim of MS, Bonnie Shoemaker and husband Bruce of Devers, Connie Touchstone and husband Read of Dayton, and Tiger Durdin and wife Bridgette of Dayton, 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, sister: Nona Rios of Baytown, special friend: Clifford “Slick” Strickland of Dayton, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of floral remembrances, the family requests that donations be made to the Trinity Baptist Church in Dayton.
