Sadeane Curry Lang
Sadeane Curry Lang, 85 was born on July 18, 1924 in Modena, Illinois and passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2009 in Houston, Texas.

Mrs. Lang grew up in Illinois and Montana, graduating from Flathead County High School in Kalispell, Montana.

As a member of the U.S. Army Nursing Corps of Nursing Cadets, she attended the Montana State College School of Nursing, from which she graduated in September 1946.

Mrs. Lang moved to Baytown, Texas, in 1948 to work at the newly opened San Jacinto Hospital, where she was a head operating room nurse. In 1949 she married Donald R. Lang and moved to Highlands, Texas, where she resided until her death.

Mrs. Lang was preceded in death by her beloved husband. She is survived by her son, Daniel R. Lang, daughters, Carol L. Lang and Donna K. Lang, daughter-in-law, Sharon M. Hogge, son-in-law, Charles J. Booth and grandsons Reeves, Will and Raphael Lang.

Mrs. Lang was active in the Highlands Methodist Church, for over fifty years, serving in many capacities, including trustee. She was a fifty-three year member and past president of the Highlands Book Review Club and worked tirelessly with the Young at Heart Club in Highlands for over thirty years. For many years, she volunteered with the Red Cross.

Visitation will be on today, November 18, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. at Sterling-White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Road, Highlands, Texas 77562.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., in the sanctuary of the Highlands Methodist Church, 107 West Houston, Highlands, Texas 77562.
