Harold James Bell
Harold James Bell, 48, of Houston, Texas passed away at home on Wednesday, November 11, 2009.
Harold was born on November 17, 1960 in Lake Charles, LA to the late Henry M. Bell and Vonnie V. (Rhame).
Harold graduated from Crosby High School in 1979 and served in the United States Army for six years. He had been a resident of Houston for ten years and a manager with Union Pacific Railroad for eight years. Harold was an avid golfer, a former Cub Scout leader, and Harris County Election Judge.
His true passion was his son Westin and the time they shared. Harold volunteered for all of Westin’s activities and together they embarked on many camping adventures even spending the night on Battleship Texas at the San Jacinto Monument.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Vonnie Bell.
He is survived by his son Westin James Bell of Katy, sister, Pamela Bell Quarry and husband Michael of Dallas, brothers Donald Bell and wife Paula of Crosby, and Kenneth Bell of Teague, and a half sister Sandra Scott and husband William of Louisiana.
He is also survived by nieces Ashley and Britney Bell, and nephew Keith Lemoine, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held for Harold on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 2PM at Sterling-White Funeral Home & Cemetery 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, TX 77562.
