James Kenneth Lewis
James Kenneth Lewis, 67, of Baytown, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2009, following a courageous battle with a lengthy illness. He was born on December 12, 1941, in Port Arthur, Texas, to James Leon Lewis and Evelyn Chism Lewis. Mr. Lewis proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Jim owned Technical Services Associates, a marine electrical company. He was raised in the Baptist faith and was a member of the Masonic Cedar Bayou Lodge 321. Besides spending time with his family, he enjoyed fishing, playing the piano, working in his yard, and woodworking.

Preceded in death by his father and a son, Ken Lewis, Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife, Marcia Lewis, of Baytown; his mother, Evelyn Lewis; sons, Jay Lewis and Rex Lewis, of Houston; stepchildren, Dana Dalbey and wife, Debi, of Dayton, Scott Dalbey, of Austin, Nancy Dalbey and husband, Coy Wheeler, of League City, and Brad Dalbey and wife, Candace, of Flower Mound; sister, Deborah Denson and husband, Tom, of Baytown; seven grandchildren, Holly Dalbey, Carly Dalbey, Tyler Dalbey, Brooke Dalbey, Toby Wheeler, Kate Dalbey and Natalie Dalbey; nieces Jerrilyn Doggett, nephew, David Denson; and numerous friends and family who will miss him.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 15, 2009, from 3 to 5 p.m., at Crespo & Jirrels. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 16, 2009, in the Chapel of Crespo & Jirrels, with Rev. Jim Lamb officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Houston. Honoring the family as pallbearers will be Jay Lewis, Rex Lewis, Dana Dalbey, Scott Dalbey, Brad Dalbey and Coy Wheeler; honorary pallbearers, Tyler Dalbey and Toby Wheeler.
