James A. Chisum
On November 6, 2009 James A. Chisum 65, lost his final battle with cancer. He died in his home with his wife of 37 years at his side. James had a great love for motorcycles, classic cars, and ice cream, but all of that paled in comparison to his love for his family and close friends.
He is preceeded in death by his Father Russel Chisum, mother Ruby Chisum, Father in law E. W. Oliver, Mother in law Alliwese Oliver, Son Rick Chisum, and Daughters in law Lucky and Terri Chisum.
James is survived by His wife Marcie Chisum, Daughter Christy Chisum-Hayes, Sons Mark and Chris Chisum, Son in law Richard Hayes, and Daughters in law Adel and Cathy Chisum, Sister Shirley Chisum, Aunts Eva Hicks and Charolet Stogsdil, Uncle Ben Stogsdil, He also had 23 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
The family will hold a private memorial this Saturday, conducted by Reverend Laban Njoroge to celebrate and honor the life, love and kindness James shared with others.
