High school football playoff pairings announced

Baytown Sun Published November 7, 2009 Six area football teams — Lee, Goose Creek Memorial, Crosby, Barbers Hill, Anahuac and Dayton — will start post-season play in the coming week.
• Anahuac's game against Buna, originally scheduled for Friday, Nov. 6, was postponed until Nov. 12 at Anahuac.
• Lee will face Pasadena Memorial in a Class 5A, Division 2, playoff on Friday at 7 p.m. at Galena Park Stadium.
• Goose Creek Memorial will play Beaumont Central on Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Beaumont's Babe Zaharias Stadium in a Class 4A, Division 1 game.
• Barbers Hill takes on Port Neches-Groves on Friday on 7:30 p.m. at Stallworth Stadium in a Class 4A, Division 2 game.
• Crosby will take on Nederland in a Class 4A, Division 1, game on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Conroe Woodforest Stadium.
• Dayton will play Vidor in a Class 4A, Division 1, playoff on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Bowers Stadium on the Sam Houston State campus in Huntsville.
