Nathan Lee Citizen-Griffin
Nathan Lee Citizen-Griffin was born on May 4, 1961 to the late Joseph J. Griffin and Lou Ethel Citizen of Baytown, Texas.
He spent his childhood in Barrett Station where he was affiliated with True Vine Baptist Church and accepted the Lord at an early age. He served 2 years in the United States Army. Nathan was a very proud Veteran.
He is survived by his mother Lou Ethel Citizen, two brothers, Reverend Patrick Gorrell of Houston, Texas and Lee Nolan “Bookie” Citizen of Baytown, Texas; two sisters, Felicia Howard of Houston, Texas and Lisa Griffin of Baytown, Texas; one sister-in-law, Monica Gorrell of Houston, Texas; four nieces, Michelle, Andrea, Megan and Raquel; six nephews, Terrance, Marcus, Christopher, Jamal, Joseph and Adrian; three great nieces, Trinity, Mariah and Samaya one great nephew Isaiah and a very special friend Annette Wright of Houston, Texas, a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Griffin was preceded in death by his father Joe Griffin, one sister Patricia Gorrell, one brother Harold Citizen.
Funeral services will be on Saturday November 7, with a one hour viewing at Walker Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. before departure for services at 12:00 p.m. at Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church 7815 Lay Rd. Houston, Texas with Reverend Patrick Gorrell officiating. Interment at San Jacinto Memorial Park Houston, Texas.
