“Fat Mac” needs you!
Well folks the “Fat Mac” attack is back again and I need your help.
Last year, I started collecting good used or new bicycles to give to the needy boys and girls when Santa comes.
This year, I started a little early on July 1.
The collection of bicycles so far has been very good (no great) that a friend of mine Lynn Lucky came to Baytown for a visit from Florida. Now I have put him to work repairing them while I try to get more bicycles for the kids.
As of Aug. 28, we have collected and repaired approximately 150 good used bicycles and he is about caught up and has nothing to do.
Well folks, I can’t let Lynn just sit around and watch TV, so we need your help to keep us busy.
We need your help, if you have any good, small bicycles or tricycles around the house we would appreciate them, so we can get them fixed early for Santa.
If you have any small bicycles (20 inches or smaller) or tricycles, please give me a call at 281-424-7241 or 281-728-2353.
Again I want to thank everyone very, very much for all the bicycles and your help.

I write this letter to thank Sterling Library for their just completed "food for fines" program. They have been wonderful in their support of our food bank, but not only the library, but all of Baytown has stepped up when needed.Individuals,churches,schools and the business community have played a large role in helping those in need this year.
We can turn on our televisions any night and listen to the arguments about whose to blame for the weak economy.However it makes me proud that Baytown can put all that a side when families are in need of help.Thanks again Sterling Library,and keep up the good work Baytown.

I'm a seventy-five year old senior citizen, and I can't understand why more democrats have not seen through Obama's lies and power-grabbing communist socialist ways. I was a democrat up until I saw through the main stream media. They pushed Obama down our throats and covered up all his radical ways. He stayed in a church for twenty years and heard Reverend Wright preach hatred for America and white people. Do you really think he doesn't believe the same way? He said if we want to know what he is about, look at the people he surrounds himself with. He is surrounded by racists, Marxists and Communist czars, congress, acorn, SEIU, AFLCIO and others. He is taking over our country and turning it from a democracy to a Communist country. He took over the banks, car companies, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, AIG, and has ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN in his pocket, and now he wants to take over health care. Seniors, if this happens, he will take millions from medicare,and give the illegals health care and social security. He wants to keep the poor people depending on him so he can get their votes. He does not care about us old people.
Leave my country alone! Seniors, we need to stand up and let them know we are not a bunch of ignorant people. Lets get rid of these liberals in congress and help take our country back. Also if you want the truth about what our government is doing, watch Fox News, the only media that’s telling the truth.
