The Unified Land Development Code citizen task force will discuss comments made by citizens during last week’s citizen participation meeting on Tuesday beginning at 11:30 a.m.
The key topic during the citizen meeting was how the new zoning ordinances would affect existing businesses and what sort of grandfather clause, in which existing businesses would gradually allow new ordinances to come up.
During Tuesday’s meeting, the task force will continue working on non-residential zoning standards, which is current focus of the task force.
The next citizen participation meeting will be Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at Stephen F. Austin Elementary School’s auditorium.
