Dayton tops C.E. King 37-0

The Dayton Broncos played like they had something to prove Friday night, stomping on the C.E. King Panthers at Bronco Stadium. Dayton ran away with the 37-0 victory.
The numbers tell the story as Dayton totaled 413 rushing yards and held C.E. King’s 60. The Broncos led 23-4 in first downs and only punted once. The Panthers were forced to punt five times and coughed up the ball three times, losing it to Dayton every time.
Andrew Herrera threw for 149 passing yards and a touchdown as Payton Ploch ran for 102 yards and a touchdown. He averaged 9.3 yards per carry.
Friday night’s game gives the Broncos a record of 7-2 overall and 6-1 in District 19-4A. The Panthers now have a record of 5-5 overall and 3-4 in district play.
