Hector Rull, Sr

Hector Rull, Sr., 74, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2009 in Triumph Hospital.

He was born February 1, 1935 in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, worked for the City of Baytown for 17 years and was an active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Mr. Rull loved to dance, go to the gym and participate in activities at the Senior Citizen’s Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Josefina Rull and 3 brothers, Hugo, Humberto and Heriberto Rull.

Survivors include his wife, Judith Rull; daughters, Hosanna Rull and Gloria Rull Gonzalez; son, Hector Rull, Jr.; grandchildren, Marcus and Miranda Nichole Rull, Elisea, Francesca and Eric Gonzalez; one great-granddaughter, Kayla Nalley; brother, Juan Rull, Jr.; sisters, Hilda Chapa and Laura Rull and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 2, 2009 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Jesus Lizalde officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited starting at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Navarre Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Hector Rull, Jr., John Benito Rull, Sr., John Benito Rull, Jr., Steve Joseph Rull, Juan Rull, III, Kade Ryan Rull, Oscar Chapa, Jr. and Sergio Chapa.

Mrs. Rull appreciates all prayers and condolences from family, friends and neighbors.
