Lucille Theresa “Lucy” Sharp

Lucille Theresa “Lucy” Sharp, 66, of Highlands, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 23, 2009. Born October 25, 1942 in Lafayette, LA, she delighted in her family, adored her grandchildren and was very caring and giving. She thought of everyone else before herself, and was very faithful in giving to the House of God. She loved sewing, and was an accomplished seamstress. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Claiborn and Bernice Boutin, and her brother Rodney Boutin.

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Robert Sharp; children, Zachary H. Sharp and wife Teri, Samuel C. Sharp and wife Sherry, Jude A. Sharp and wife Lori, Carla S. Cooper and husband Darrell; grandchildren, Jennifer Benson, Kristian Sharp, Jordan Sharp, Jalyn Sharp, Kristofer Sharp, Kaleb Sharp, Kristen Cooper, Macie Cooper, Kaylee Cooper and Dawson Cooper; mother-in-law, Minnie Sharp; siblings, Fred Boutin and wife Thelma, Grace Simon and husband Allen, Joyce Boutin, Mary Stutes, Ida Prejean, Nolia Clavier; sister-in-law, Sue Boutin; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

The family received friends on Monday, October 26, 2009 from 5-9pm at Earthman Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Rd. Baytown, TX. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 10am at Earthman Funeral Home, with services officiated by Rev. Roger D. Blackburn and Rev. Ralph Wead. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery in Liberty, TX.
