Alcohol and drug related

Baytown Police arrested a woman in the 1100 block of Turner Street on suspicion of possession of 11.9 grams of marijuana Monday.

Burglaries and thefts

• A lime green and black Kawasaki ZX9 motorcycle was stolen from a business in the 5400 block of Interstate 10.

• A Baytown woman received a ticket for suspicion of shoplifting from a business in the 2200 block of N. Main Street.

• A man attempted to burglarize a vehicle in the 6900 block of Garth Road at approximately 12:15 p.m. Monday. According to police reports he was scared away by a witness.

• Baytown Police arrested a man in the 2200 block of N. Main Street on suspicion of shoplifting less than $30 worth of merchandise from a Baytown business.

• A 2001 GMC pick up truck was burglarized in the 5000 block of Garth Road while the owner was working out at a local gym.

• A woman reported someone stole her computer from a classroom in the 200 block of Lee Drive between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday.

• A local woman reported someone took cell phone from her apartment in the 3400 block of Shady Hill Drive.

• A Baytown man reported a man with a gun stole his vehicle at about 6 p.m. Friday while he was in a Lee College parking lot in the 500 block of S. Whiting Street. The vehicle is described as a red 2007 Dodge Charger with Texas License plates.

Miscellaneous

• A woman reported someone broke into her vehicle between 1 p.m. and 3:42 p.m. Monday while it was in the 1700 block of James Bowie Drive and ransacked it but did not steal anything.

• Police arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of disorderly conduct and abusive language after police responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of Lincoln Cedars Drive.

44 offense reports

Between 6 a.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday, Baytown police wrote 44 offense reports and handled incidents that included; three assaults; two auto thefts; three burglaries; four burglaries of a motor vehicles; one incident of disorderly conduct; one forgery; one robbery and 10 thefts.
