Back to school driving tips

Baytown Sun Published July 31, 2009 Even though classes at the area schools are weeks away from beginning, there’s already plenty of action around the schools.
Fall sports practices are set to begin next week and for some schools, bands practices have already begun.
All this means is that the roads around the schools will be busy most of the days of the weeks.
Now is the time to start getting into the habit of paying extra attention when driving near a school — not when school officially starts.
