The Baytown Sun Baytown Sun closes online discussion forum From staff reports Published May 15, 2008 The Baytown Sun suspended its online discussion board, Baytown Talk, on Thursday due to the large number of readers who continued to violate the board's guidelines."At least temporarily, we've taken this step because a few readers continued to post inappropriate material," Publisher Cliff Clements said. "We're sorry it came to this. Thanks to all those who joined the site and tried to participate in legitimate dialogue about Baytown." Clements said The Sun is committed to fostering community discussions through its site. The newspaper will explore ways to provide additional discussion opportunities in the future.
