Jonathan Roman’s penalty kick late in the second half help the Goose Creek Memorial Patriots tie Fulshear 1-1 on the first day of the Pasadena Cup to open the season Thursday.
“We had our chances in the game, but we just couldn’t execute anything in the attacking third that was promising,” GCM head coach William Freeman said. “We worked hard and showed promise; we have to be better creating scoring chances and finishing.”
