Lee College men’s basketball moved to 7-2 this season with a sweep of Arizona teams last week.
The Rebels defeated Pima (96-80), Cochise (90-76) and Glendale (100-86) community colleges on successive days beginning last Thursday in Tucson.
In the Pima win, Lee won easily despite shooting 15.8 percent from beyond the arc, making up for that by hitting 36-of-57 from two-point range and committing only 11 turnovers.
Jackson Makoi (27 points), Chris Osten (15 points), Keontae White (14 points) and Ishmael Cruz Paris (12 points) led Lee in the victory.
Against Cochise, Paris (21 points), Makoi (17 points, 10 rebounds), Lewis Hughes (13 points) and Marvens Petion (10 points) played big roles for Lee.
Paris (23 points), Osten (21 points), Makoi (17 points) and Linton (15 points) played key roles for the Rebels in clinching the sweep of all three games.
Lee broke out to mid-to-high double digit leads by halftime in each win to set the tone for the eventual results.
The Rebels played host to LSC –Cy Fair Tuesday night and open up Region XIV play 6 p.m. Saturday night against Navarro in Baytown.
