Goose Creek Memorial and Crosby high schools shared plenty of the All-District 22-5A spoils as the best players for 2019 were announced this week.
Making the first team were Crosby sophomore pitcher Nick Mooney and teammate, junior designated hitter Blayne Cunningham.
GCM had three first-team picks, including senior first baseman Dalton Williams, senior shortstop Cristian Cienfuegos and senior catcher Tristan Pitkin.
Crosby, which finished 15-12 overall and missed the postseason by one game had three, second-team choices in sophomore pitcher Michael Hogan, senior first baseman Omar Quintana and senior outfielder Ethan Aloma.
GCM, which completed a 12-14-2 campaign that saw them lose out on a playoff spot due to tiebreaker, had no second-team selection.
Robert E. Lee was shutout of receiving postseason honors.
