It’s a new year and that means youth baseball is preparing for another season.

The Baytown Baseball Association (BTBA) PONY League has begun its 2020 registration and will continue through Jan. 29 for kids ages 11-14 for open base play.

Sign ups take place 6-8 p.m. next Wednesday and Jan. 22 and 29 at Jenkins Park. They will also be held at the upcoming Sports Expo on Jan. 18 (10 a.m. - 4 p.m.) and Jan. 19 (12-4 p.m.) at 2401 Market St.

The cost to participate is $200 per player.

The league is a USA or wooden bats league and will only use metal or rubber cleats.

Games are planned for Monday and Friday with make up games played on Tuesday and Thursday.

Online registration can be completed at TSHQ.BLUESOMBRERO.COM/BAYTOWNBA.
