After the rains of Imelda sent parts of Southeast Houston under water a handful of events involving area teams have been announced Thursday.

The following reflects changes made as of 8:20 p.m. 


Crosby’s football game scheduled Friday at West Orange-Stark has been canceled.

Baytown Christian's game at Logos Prep in Sugar Land 7 p.m. Friday is still on schedule.


Anahuac hosting Orangefield has been changed to 2 p.m. Saturday from 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Crosby hosting Texas City has been changed to 5 p.m. Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. Friday.

Barbers Hill's home match against Port Arthur Memorial for 6:30 p.m. Friday has been canceled and the reschedule date is still pending.

All Goose Creek CISD matches (REL at Santa Fe, GCM at Texas City and La Porte at Sterling) are still scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Friday.

Team Tennis

REL hosting Crosby has been postponed with no makeup date announced.

RSS at North Shore has been changed to 3:45 Wednesday from 3:45 p.m. Friday.

GCM at Galveston Ball has been changed to 4 p.m. Wednesday from 4 p.m. Friday.

Cross Country

REL, RSS, GCM at Sam Rayburn Running Texans meet Friday morning has been canceled with no makeup date expected.

The Barbers Hill Eagle Invitational is still on schedule.

Special Olympics Softball and Bocce Tournament

Scheduled for Saturday at Wayne Gray Sports Complex has been canceled.
