The Baytown Major team celebrates its 11-10 win Monday night in an District 14 East Zone bracket elimination game. The Major squad was to play Texas City Tuesday night in another elimination game to stay alive for the district title.

The Baytown Little League’s dream of a district title remains alive.

The Baytown Major team bounced back from a 12-3 defeat Sunday against Bayside by staving off championship elimination with a tense, 11-10 win Monday against Dickinson in Seabrook.

Baytown remained alive in the District 14 East Zone bracket and was set to play Texas City in an elimination game Tuesday in League City.

In the 8-9-10 International tournament, the Baytown squad dropped a 28-10 decision to Hitchcock in the District 14 consolation bracket of the East Zone Saturday night.

The defeat ended the Baytown team’s season.
