Hey al, sounds like a tough guy. Is this the same fellow the democrats have lied, cheated, conducted illegal investigations and brought false impeachment charges because he beat them in an election and he is still clean as a whistle? Sounds like somebody needs a snicker....

N/A has an interesting take. He doesn’t even care if Trump is guilty of misconduct. N/A gloats about Trump getting away with it. I wonder if someone robbed and assaulted N/A in broad daylight, was apprehended and brought to trial, then was turned loose by a rigged jury, would N/A admire that crook, too? What’s bizarre in all of this is that Bert and N/A want us to think that the criminal is the real victim.

I am posting a list of the glowing virtuous and honest and clean and sincere and patriotic candidates and proponents of the Democratic Party in the last three years.

Here are the virtuous honorable people representing the vestal and unflappably honest Democratic Party and their scrupulous voters: Bennet, Bloomberg, Buttigieg, Pelosi, Schummer, Nadler, Schiff, Gabbard, Steyer, Warren, Yang, Booker, Castro, Blasio, Delaney, Gillibrand, Gravel, Harris, Klobucher, Patrick, Sanders, Hickenlooper, Inslee, O’Rourke & Biden.

Following is an extensive list of accomplishments these representatives have tendered since Trump was duly elected: See for yourself.

“A member of the U.S. House of Representatives earns $174,000 per year. So, given that the House was in session for 191 days in 2019, that works out to a salary of $910.99 per day. Each House member is also provided with a budget of $944,671 to cover staff costs and another $256,574 to cover office expenditures.

After dividing those costs by 191 days in session and adding the resulting figures to the base salary, you’ll come to $7,200.23 per House member for daily wages and office costs.”

Sorry. I couldn’t find any accomplishments these politicians tendered other than concentrating on deposing a duly elected President.

Frank

Bert, I am having a hard time trying to figure out how your post is somehow supposed to contradict Alan's observations of the president. You seem to imply that salary and expense payments only went to Democratic members of the House. Are you suggesting that the Republican members turned down their salary payments? Maybe you can provide a source for that information? Did you do a similar calculation in 2016 when there were 20 candidates in the Republican primary?

I get it. You disagree with Alan's observations. Maybe a more straight forward approach would have been to provide verifiable sources that would show that Alan's observations are incorrect.

Then again, maybe Alan is spot on, and your only recourse is to change the subject.

Frank

Bert, I am having a hard time understanding how your post is relevant as a response to Alan’s letter. Are you suggesting that the Republican representatives did not accept their salaries and expense payments? Only the Democrat reps get paid for their work??? Really?

Wouldn’t it have made more sense for you to challenge Alan’s points with references to legitimate sources that contradict his assertions? Or maybe Alan is right and your strategy is to change the subject.

Four federal prosecutors just resigned after Trump's criminal friend Roger Stone had his prison sentence reduced by Trump's crooked AG Barr. Trump denies having anything to do with it, as usual, and it's clear Trump is lying. Bert and Raymond, would you hire a criminal sleazebag like Trump to clean your toilet? Of course not, spineless Republicans hired him as president.

rmartin

Hey al, you mean (4) prosecutors from the Mueller witch hunt that resulted in zero charges against President Trump? Trump should pardon everybody charged by this crooked bias group of angry democrats. Go get a snickers al, you are about to over-amp...

Frank, you're a breath of fresh air! Here's a comparison of the Trump idiocy and what is normal.. The Astros got caught cheating in baseball by stealing the opposing team's signs. The GM and Field Mgr were held accountable and were fired. The team paid $5 million in fines and forfeited draft picks for 2 years. Trump got caught cheating to rig US elections in his favor, bribing a foreign gov't, and breaking the law. Amoral cult Republicans did nothing. As I said before, would you hire a guilty criminal to scrub your toilet? Of course not, sleazy Republicans hired him as president.

rmartin

Yes al and NL the sleazy republicans are going to keep him in office for (4) more years. How bout them apples???

mrjkam

Alan H, Trump was ACCUSED of rigging election, bribing a foreign government, and breaking the law. All those were investigated and proven false. Throwing insults, name calling, accusing of being racist, and every other insinuation at him doesn't make him that. No, I wouldn't hire him to clean my toilet, but I do like seeing my 401k up 25% in the past 3 years instead of flat lining like in the previous 8.

Alan H

Mrjkam, All of the charges against Trump were not fully investigated and were never proven false. Do you live under a rock? The Senate did no investigation at all, only the House. Trump withheld documents and forbid his staff from testifying, even though they were subpoenaed. You're 401K may be up but the US is bankrupt thanks to Trump's massive trillion dollar budget.

mrjkam

My schooling was a long time ago, but I seem to remember everyone is innocent until proven guilty. From under my rock I noticed that the so-called trial was a one-sided show to let the Dems bring in whoever they wanted to say their untruths about Trump. He knew he couldn't win, so who in their right mind would go be interrogated by that.

Alan H

Mrjkam, you seem to have none of your facts straight. Dems used witnesses who had 1st hand or 2nd hand info. All of these witnesses corroborated as fact that Trump bribed a foreign govt to cheat in the 2020 election. Dems subpoenaed Trump and his staff, but all ignored the subpoenas. The Senate trial could have subpoenaed witnesses, like John Bolton, and all the documents Trump refused to release. Instead the Senate did nothing to prove Trump's innocence and acquitted him. In America, we are innocent until proven guilty. The Dems proved Trump was guilty and the Senate did nothing to prove Trump's innocence, not caring that Trump blocked witnesses and documents. Also in America, if it walks like a guilty duck, and quacks like a guilty duck, it probably IS a guilty duck. How can anyone in their right mind support a liar like Trump?
