Concerning Deandre Arnold and Barbers Hill ISD: I agree with Terry Nevorski’s letter in Sunday’s Baytown Sun. I think it is a shame that Barbers Hill ISD let Deandre go all the way through school and then, in his senior year, decide not to let hum walk at graduation ceremonies.

Good for Goose Creek for taking him in to finish his senior year. 

I am for the CROWN (Creating a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair) Act. The CROWN Act ensures protection against discrimination based on hairstyles by extending statutory protection to hair texture and protective styles.
