It's snow time, January 1973

In January 40 years ago, from 2 to 4 inches of snow blanketed Baytown.

Ice-skidding cars ended up in ditches along hazardous roads. Pedestrians slipped and fell, ending up in emergency rooms. Water pipes burst. Frozen tree limbs cracked.
