On behalf of the Baytown Bowling Association and the Special Olympics committee, we want to extend a big “thank you” to all who helped make the 25th annual tournament such a complete success.

We were assisted by our Mayor, Brandon Capetillo, for the opening of our tournament.

We had a moment of silence for our beloved and devoted founder Hattie Brockelman.

The oath was given and the torch carried to start the competition. Eric Strickland, manager of Acadian EMS, sent volunteers, Mike and Craig, who gave their time and talent once again. Lana, our photographer, extended her experience on taking individual photos again this year of all participants, given to them before the end of tournament.  With the assistance of the local association board, along with other volunteers, namely, Peggy Ramsey, Kitty Yaw, Emit and Eric Vaughn, Ed Damsel and Blake and any others not mentioned, this tournament would not have been a success without your help. Thank you so much.

Last, but not least, Urikie Harvey and Gary Beatty who put so much time and energy in getting the tournament organized and running in a timely manner. Thanks and appreciation to you both.

Our extended appreciation to all our local bowlers for opening their hearts in the donations collected through the leagues, raising $836.60 and $200 from outside donors, helping with our linage, awards, etc.

See you all next year. God bless you all!
