It was a fun and informative evening with Elyse Lanier, Billy Burge and our friend Lanny Griffith. It was nice to hear Elyse talk about Mayor Bob and how he loved Baytown.
Billy did a great job explaining and talking about the Bob Lanier Parkway. And last but not least, Lanny Griffith was the moderator for the evening and did an outstanding job with all his spunk and personality.
The Baytown Historical Museum is a great place to visit. It is an educational facility for all third graders in the Goose Creek school district. The museum docents educate the children about the rich history of Baytown and the surrounding area. It is very rewarding to see these same children visit again when they are grown and share their memories about their third grade field trips to the Baytown Historical Museum.
If you have not had a chance to visit, please drop by and look around. We welcome and encourage everyone to visit and really see what the museum is all about.
Again, thanks to everyone who supported the fundraiser and those who continue to support the museum. Your generosity, your support and your volunteerism is always appreciated and vitally important to making the Baytown Historical Museum such an asset to our community.
