The Baytown YMCA sold their building to the school district for a million dollars.The implication, at that time, was to find a more suitable location to build a new facility.  Instead they rented a cubbyhole that was .not accessible to the majority of Baytonians. 

Shortly after that it was closed due to poor attendance. 

At present , the local YMCA only offers minimal services and the only one advertised function, the annual fundraiser bike ride.

What happened to the sale funds? And what are the future plans other than keep the funds in Houston?
