Dolores (Dody) Roberson Lewis passed away July 9, 2019. Her memorial service will be held at a later date.
Dolores Adrienne Roberson Lewis nee Johnson, known to many as (Dody), passed away July 9, 2019, at Life Care Center in Casper, Wyoming. She was born August 30, 1933, in Waukegan, Illinois, to Eric and Sally (Laaksonen) Johnson.
Dody is survived by her daughter Sally Roberson Kerpchar and her husband Christian; and her son, Seth (Tom) Roberson. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Daniel Crum and Katherine Kerpchar Smith and her husband Chad, and five great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother Richard Johnson and his wife Linda of Dunnellon, Florida.
Dody was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Walter (Jack) Lewis, and her grandson David Kerpchar.
Dody was always ready for adventure. She was as comfortable in a ball gown as she was in camouflage. She enjoyed fishing and hunting. She loved travel, boxing, slot machines, fine dining, elegant settings, dancing, music, and the Indianapolis 500. Dody always had a song in her heart and a beautiful singing voice. She was a splendid friend to many and a very generous person.
