Mucio Ramirez Jr. passed away on June we, 2019. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 5  to 8 p.m. at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, TX 77521 with a rosary beginning at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1124 Beech Street, Baytown, Texas 77520. Interment will follow at Earthman Memory Gardens, 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521.

Mucio Ramirez Jr., 69, of Baytown, passed away on Wednesday, June 12 2019, at home with his family by his side. He was born July 27 1949 to Mucio Ramirez, Sr. and Pauline Fonseca Ramirez in Yoakum, Texas. He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and attended Lee College. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and chose a career as a fabricated welder with Exxon for 30 years. He retired in 2004. He loved his family and will be remembered as a loving son, devoted husband, father, grandfather, godfather, brother, brother-in-law, and friend. He loved his family and traveling. He always had a smile on his face and made friends everywhere.

In his younger years, he enjoyed running marathons, bowling, traveling, and playing softball. He bowled with UMAB Club and played softball with Baytown Tequila, Mexican Sweat, Wolf Pack, then in tournaments called Mixed Company and Exxon Mechanics. A faithful blood donor every eight weeks. Also, a big gander fan (Once a Gander, Always a Gander). He will always be remembered by his contagious smile and selflessness.

Preceded in death by his parents, brother Leon Ramirez , and sister-in-law Josie Ramirez; he is survived by his daughter Tina Jimenez and husband Adam , of  Baytown; sons, Mucio Ramirez III and Oscar Ramirez, both of Baytown; sisters, Gloria O’Valle (Partner in Crime), Jeannie O’Campo and husband Miguel, Anita Loredo and husband Alex, Kathy Torres and husband Joe, Vera Ramirez and husband Andrew Gonzalez; grandchildren, Francisco Salinas and girlfriend Monica Gullian, Kaylee Mcauliffe, and Cecelia and Adam Jimenez, and many other loving friends, family members and many nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are Francisco Salinas, Ivan Jimenez, Martin Gonzalez, David Vega, Troy Ramirez and Roque Gonzalez.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 5  to 8 p.m. at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, TX 77521 with a rosary beginning at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1124 Beech Street, Baytown, Texas 77520 with Father Jesus Lizalde officiating. Interment will follow at Earthman Memory Gardens, 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521.
