The public is invited to a conversation on the health effects from air pollution from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Sterling Municipal Library.

The Center for Health, Environment & Justice along with the Texas Health & Environment Alliance is looking for additional voices and opinions on a proposal idea for a new federal policy. Ideas will be reviewed to determine what is positive about the proposal, what needs to be eliminated and what should be added to a federal policy. The overarching goal is to reduce or eliminate health risks from toxic air pollution. Attendees are asked to RSVP because of limited space. Lunch will be provided. Send RSVP to actionnetwork.org/events/exploring-sacrifice-zone-policy.
